- going out for the night You dragging yourself to your first class of the day. As you wait for the professor to come in, you go through your emails. There's nothing of note, really-- just a handful of school events. You consider your schedule.
<<switch $class>>
<<case "Upper-class">>

You should be able to go. It'll be fun--it's downtown, so you could browse the shops in that area and see if anything catches your eye. You make plans to check in with your internship and see if you have anything to do.

You should be able to go. You'd probably have to watch your wallet a little, but a little treat never hurt.
<<case "Lower-class">>

You're not really sure if you can afford to consider going out. You're already subsisting off of instant meals more often than you feel comfortable-- not to mention the fact that you have work.

It's late at night though, and you're not too keen on going alone. You make a mental note to check who you can drag along with you.
<</if>>

You force yourself to look at the front as class starts in full. You've played with fire (not paying attention) before, and you're not looking to get burned (being faced with a quiz you didn't study for). There's something about a group project, and you can feel the resignation in your class when your professor tells you that the groups are already assigned.

You shuffle towards your group, introductions going around<<if $gender is "Woman">>, trying not to feel awkward about being the only 'girl' there<</if>>. There are a few ideas tossed between class,<<if $gender isnot "Man">> though you feel a prickle of annoyance when they repeat what you said, but louder. !!!So, what is your project?
My project is an interactive story that changes between 'playthroughs' as you also change your 'stats'. It explores a bit of everything covered in the class-- sex and gender, race, sexual orientation, and class, with the main ideas being that of intersectionality and privilege.<<include "lb">>
!!!What are you trying to explore with the project?
1. How do different power structures interact with each other?
2. How do differences in people affect people? <<include "lb">>
!!!What are some major insights on what you've learned this semester shown in the project?
I think my biggest takeaway from this class is that learning about difficult topics like this is important! In this day and age, ignorance and misinformation are rampant, and the best way to fight back against that is to keep an open mind and be understanding.

Your personal chauffer drives you to the airport where you have your private jet. The staff nod to you as you board.
It's an uneventful flight. It's too short to get any work done, so you decide to schedule your classes for next semester. You grab your laptop and search for the classes, noting that one of your classes is in the Van Buren wing of the campus. You almost forget your grandfather donated to your university.
You meet up with a friend at Atelier Crenn. You invited them out, so it's only right to pay. It's only a little over a thousand dollars, anyway.
"Don't you have that event you sponsored today?" you friend says. "That festival in your hometown?"
"It doesn't happen until later in the afternoon," you say. It's a passion project you've been working on for a bit, so you're excited to see it come to fruition. You explain the event, what it means to you, and you friend looks thoughtful.
"Maybe if I wrap up early today, I'll come and check it out," they say, and you beam.
[[Next.|Day 3%]]
You part ways with your friend, taking your jet back to hometown. You dress down while in the air, so when you land and your personal chauffer takes you to the festival, you look more inconspicuous.
You meet with the event organizers, who thank you for your assistance. You brush it off-- it'd be embarrasing if you couldn't organize one event. You watch people go about, and it's satisfying to see all your hard work come together.
The event passes in a blur-- you participate where and when you can. You even spot your friend, and the two of you talk more until the festival ends.
You're called up to the main event stage, and you talk about wanting to give back to the community. You bring up the number you heard from the organizers earlier, thanking the crowd for supporting a cause near and dear to your heart.
It really is the least you can do.

You wake up with the light filtering through the curtains of your windows. You take your time getting ready-- you'll be busier today than normal, so it makes sense to pamper yourself a little. You go through your routine, feeling refreshed once you finish, and you get dressed.
"Mr. Van Buren," Your chef greets you with a nod when you enter the kitchen. "What'll it be for today?"
You rattle off your order, going through your email as you wait for your chef to finish your meal. You thank your chef and start to eat, seeing the notes your personal assistant made on your calendar.
You've got a brunch in San Fransisco, and you were planning to see if there were any outfits that catch your eye. One of your favorite music artists is on tour in Europe, and you're still trying to decide whether you should go to the one in London or in Madrid.
You brush off the thought. Something to worry about later.
